Thyatira Presbyterian Church welcomes you....
Thyatira has a long history of good preaching, sound teaching, wonderful fellowship and programs for children and youth. Worship, music, and mission outreach around the world are essential parts of what you will find here. Participation in the life of our congregation is a rich, spirit-filled, and renewing experience.
For 260 years Thyatira has made a positive contribution to Rowan County and to the state of North Carolina. We invite you to come and worship with us and experience the joy of being a part of this historic yet progressive community of faith.
We welcomed our interim pastor, Dr. Bill Lindeman on Nov. 17, 2013 with a special luncheon after he led us in worship. Bill has served the PC(USA) as teacher, writer, pastor, chaplain, conflict management consultant and interium ministry specialist. Bill is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greeensboro where he majored in Music Education and a graduate of Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond, VA where he graduated with a Doctor of Ministry degree.
